In-Home Pet Euthanasia
The gentlest goodbye,
in the place
they love most.
Compassionate in-home pet euthanasia services that honor your beloved companion's final moments with dignity and care.
One doctor.
Every time.
Some families find comfort in a large practice with multiple veterinarians and broad availability. Others want one doctor who knows them, shows up personally, and brings the same care every single time.
At Comfort Home, it is always the same veterinarian. She has been making these house calls since 2012. She knows this work deeply — the quiet that a family needs, the pace that a frightened animal needs — and she brings both, every single time.
"When the moment comes, you deserve to know exactly who will be there with you — and so does your pet."

Compassion in every visit.
A veterinarian devoted to gentle care.
Comfort Home was founded on a simple principle: end-of-life care should be dignified, compassionate, and entirely on your family's terms. Our veterinarian is dedicated to providing the highest standard of medical care while honoring the profound bond between you and your pet.
With extensive training in gentle palliative and end-of-life care, we bring clinical expertise and genuine personal commitment to every home visit. This is not a chain service or rotating network. It's one dedicated veterinarian, your family, and your beloved pet.
One Veterinarian
We are not a rotating network of contractors. The same dedicated veterinarian cares for your pet at every appointment — building trust and consistency throughout.
No Pressure. Ever.
Your family's needs come first. We take as much time as you need, answer every question, and never rush to the next appointment. Your goodbye deserves space.
Guided Compassion
If you're uncertain about timing or options, we offer thorough consultations to help your family make confident, informed decisions without judgment or pressure.
Frequently Asked Questions
We understand you may have many questions. Here are answers to the most common ones.
Our veterinarian will arrive at your scheduled time with all necessary supplies. They'll spend time with you and your pet, explaining each step. The procedure is gentle and peaceful, usually taking just a few minutes. Your pet remains comfortable throughout, and you can be present for the entire time. We provide tissues, water, and emotional support.
We recommend scheduling at least 1-2 hours for your appointment. This allows time for our veterinarian to arrive, discuss your pet's medical history, answer questions, and provide a calm, unhurried experience. Your emotional needs matter, and we won't rush this important moment.
We provide information about several aftercare options, including cremation services, burial guidance, and memorial options. Some families choose individual cremation to receive their pet's ashes. Others prefer communal cremation or home burial. We'll discuss what feels right for your family and provide trusted recommendations.
There's no need to do anything special. Simply let your pet be comfortable in their favorite room. Some families choose to have their pet's favorite blanket or toys nearby. We'll guide you on any health considerations when you call. Our focus is on creating a calm, loving environment.
Our primary goal is your pet's comfort. We use gentle, humane methods and veterinary-grade medications. Your pet will not experience pain. Many families are surprised by how peaceful the process is. We're trained in compassionate end-of-life care and will ensure your pet's dignity throughout.
Yes. We provide resources for grief support, including information about pet loss support groups and counseling services. The loss of a beloved pet is real grief, and we're here to acknowledge and support you through it. We also offer follow-up check-ins with our Premium Care Package.
